If you Google phrases like “best Invisalign dentist” or “top Invisalign provider” in just about any city across the U.S., you’ll get hundreds of results. Dental offices everywhere claim to be the “top,” “best,” or “#1” Invisalign practice in town.

Unfortunately, these claims can be misleading. In most cases, saying you’re the “best” simply means one thing only: you’re good at marketing.

So, how can you tell if a dentist is truly experienced and skilled with clear aligners?

There’s only one real way to know: Look for the AACA Fellowship.

When it comes to straightening your teeth, Invisalign® is one of the most popular and trusted choices for a reason! It’s subtle, effective, and doesn’t interrupt your lifestyle. But did you know that who you choose to guide you through your Invisalign journey matters just as much as the aligners themselves?

What Is the AACA?

At Susan Ellison Dentistry & Cosmetics, we’re proud to offer Invisalign treatment led by Dr. Susan Ellison, a Fellow of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA). That’s not just a fancy title; it’s a big deal for your smile and your overall experience.

The American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) is a prestigious organization of dentists dedicated to mastering the art and science of clear aligner therapy. Becoming a Fellow of the AACA means a provider has completed advanced clinical training, demonstrated exceptional Invisalign outcomes, and remains deeply committed to continuing education in clear aligner care.

One of 90 in the World

Fewer than 1% of Invisalign providers achieve this level of distinction, so when you choose a dentist like Dr. Susan Ellison, you’re choosing excellence backed by years of hands-on expertise and innovation. Dr. Ellison is one of only 90 in the entire world with this title.

Why It Matters for Your Invisalign Results

Let’s face it, aligning your teeth isn’t just about looks. It’s about function, bite, jaw alignment, and long-term oral health. With clear aligners, small miscalculations can lead to longer treatment times, poor results, or discomfort. That’s why experience and training matter.

As an AACA Fellow, Dr. Ellison has successfully treated a wide range of cases, including complex misalignments that many providers refer out. She uses advanced 3D imaging, software planning, and personalized care to give you a truly customized smile journey, from the first tray to your final retainer.
